Bingo! (And this is just the beginning)
Bev Harris and the Black Box Voting crew find evidence of fraud in Florida.
"You have to understand that we are non-partisan," she said. "We're not trying to change the outcome of an election, just to find out if there was any voting fraud."
That said, Bev added: "The pattern was very clear. The anomalies favored George W. Bush. Every single time."

UC Berkeley Research Team Sounds 'Smoke Alarm' for Florida E-Vote Count Statistical Analysis - the Sole Method for Tracking E-Voting - Shows Irregularities May Have Awarded 130,000 - 260,000 or More Excess Votes to Bush in Florida Research Team Calls for Investigation
Blue Lemur touches on this study as well.
The Boston Globe touches on the lack of media coverage concerning this crucial issue: Did the votes of the American populace actually put Mr Bush in office? More importantly, can the new voting technologies be trusted?
Can we trust the media?
I think the unfolding of the attack on Iraq shows us the media have failed to give "We the People" the information necessary to analyse what our government is doing on the world stage in our name. We need to call them to task on the issue of electronic voting machines, an issue that touches on one of the cruxes of our present American situation. How can we export Democracy from the barrel of a gun while it seems one political party here seems afraid of the will of the people, the other is silently (strategically, I hope, we'll see as this plays out) complicit in what appears to be the willful thwarting of Democracy at home while the media at large remains silent.
Ralph Nader is doing Democracy a service, the New Hampshire partial recount is underway. The Green Party along with the Libertarian Party are working to make a recount in Ohio a reality, seeing to it that the recount will be done before Ohio's Electors meet on December 13th.
Sounds like the possibility of Vote Fraud will get an airing.
Apologies Accepted Going there made my heart light. Thank you TF for the link.

I read a thought provoking article "History of Fundamentalism: How far apart are Al-Queda and Extremist Judeo-Christianity?" and thought I should recommend it.

In these uncertain times I like to go to Fantastic Planet and read the ongoing translation of the Gospel of Thomas offered there.
While there I came across this link to an article about ex-Marine recruiter Jimmy Massey, a man who is is truly a hero. It is a must read. See how youngsters are fed into the "economic draft" system by hook or by crook. Read why Mr Massey left the Corp.
This fine person of conscience was interview by Amy Goodman of Democracy Now!; audio here, transcript here.

Spreading Truth
Read about Bev Harris in Volusia County; a wonderful place for a fraud audit.
I think you'll find "Ohio hearings show massive GOP vote manipulation, but where the hell are the Democrats & John Kerry?" an interesting read.
American Coup II is a collection of pieces highlighting this very irregular election. Get the truth.
Keith Olbermann of MSNBC is getting hit hard by Right Wing pundits for just mentioning facts of this type in the mainstream press. Doesn't getting to the bottom of this election mess supercede Left/Right, Democrat/Republican issues? We are talking about the sanctity of our democratic system here.
Many of us have lingering suspicions about the veracity of the results of the Presidential elections.
When he was asked by a member of the audience whether he would like to revisit his decision in 2000 the Al Gore/George W. Bush election dispute, Scalia cut off the questioner, saying, "I'm inclined to say it's been four years and an election. Get over it." That drew loud boos from the crowd.
Support Bev Harris financially in her organizations quest for the truth about this election. "Get over it" indeed.

I hear there's rumors on the Internets that we're going to have a draft. We're not going to have a draft, period. The all- volunteer army works. It works particularly when we pay our troops well. It works when we make sure they've got housing, like we have done in the last military budgets. further into the statement Now, forget all this talk about a draft. We're not going to have a draft so long as I am the president. The above quote of Mr Bush is taken from the October 8 Presidential debate.
The following is sourced to the Brownsville (Texas) Herald:
The Selective Service System (SSS) and the U.S. Department of Education now are gearing up to compare their computer records, to make sure all men between the ages of 18 and 25 who are required to register for a military draft have done so.
The SSS and the education department will begin comparing their lists on Jan. 1, 2005, according to a memo authored by Jack Martin, acting Selective Service director.
While similar record checks have been done periodically for the past 10 years, Martin’s memo is dated Oct. 28, just a few days before the Nov. 2 presidential election, a hard-fought campaign in which the question of whether the nation might need to reinstate a military draft was raised in debates and on the stump.
With the Armed Forces stretched thin, will Mr Bush keep his word?
