Stop over to Orcinus. His "Bush, the Nazis and America":
Parts 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well as "Rush, Newspeak and Fascism: An Exegesis" are really important, as is his latest piece, "The Conserva-Traitors' Hall of Shame"(scroll down," Onward Christian Soldiers" is an amazing piece as well) Remember that maxim "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned repeat it."? There is a historical context for what is occuring in present day America.
